☕️Tea Coffee Recommendation: Vanilla-Lavender Latte with habanero sugar (Good Times from PERC)
Hey friends,
Happy March! After enjoying eleven days in Atlanta, I am back in Charlotte again for the next few weeks. But I’m starting to feel like my homesickness turns into full on sickness every time I leave. Why, you ask? Because your girl has been under the weather since Wednesday of this week. Congestion, sinus headaches, minor fevers and all. And it is the main reason I’m posting a day later than normal. As per usual, the trip filled my cup in various ways and aspects. But I won’t lie the introverted part of me is happy to recharge my battery over the next few weekends.
Conversations in Small Bites
Listen when they say surround yourself with the right kind of people, oh they—whomever this ethereal omniscient they actually is, know exactly what they’re talking about.
Over Galentine’s weekend, I spent time reconnecting with friends over dinner, brunch, at the bar, and in one of my friend’s living rooms. We gave an update on our daily activities, discussed future plans, and had real conversations about where we are currently in our lives.
We also shot the shit as well lol So much so, one of the servers at the end of the night walked over to us and asked:
“Do y’all have a podcast because y’all are funny, and I would definitely tune in.”
Best compliment ever!
It was the homecoming and encouragement I needed at just the right time. Which also served as a reminder of how important it is to find and create community.
Special Project
Around this time last year, I shared that I’d be launching something that was years in the making: my website. This was partly due to feeling like I was finally in the right space to do it. But I also figured that by sharing my plans with you, I’d be holding myself accountable as well.
Well, as the saying goes, life happens, and I didn’t end up launching.
However, there may be plans currently in the pipeline for a launch this month!
How did February treat you? Good or big news? Tell me all the things below!
Once again, we’re at the end of another newsletter. Thanks for tuning in to my musings, and I’ll catch you in your inbox soon.
